The Darkhorse release their debut album ‘The Carcass Of The Sun Will Sleep’ on 24th February via Attic Records.
New video for ‘Dead Crows’ out now:

“…their crushing Southern fried delivery was so authentic you could almost taste it. The fuzzed up appearance of the heavily bearded bunch was matched by the distorted fuzz pumped through the amps. Very much from the same classroom as Crowbar and Corrosion Of Conformity, The Darkhorse are ferocious frontrunners well worth a gamble on next time they appear”
The Midlands Rocks

Upcoming show (more tbc):
13th Jan – Mama Liz’s Voodoo Lounge, Stamford

Hailing from the muddy fields and pig sheds of Northamptonshire, The Darkhorse are a 4 piece metal band with the heart of doom and sludge but with the lungs of a hardcore band, drawing their influences from the likes of Sabbath, Superjoint Ritual, The Chariot and Crowbar.

They have only been around since 2014 when they self-released their debut 6 track EP ‘A Badge of Dishonour and Discomfort’, recorded at Neil Hudson’s (Krysthla) ‘Initiate Audio and Media’ studio.
Since that release they have played Bloodstock in 2014 after being spotted by Simon Hall at their M2TM final, Mammothfest in 2015 and have supported the likes of Raging Speedhorn, Heart Of A Coward, Mage, Stormringer, Garganjua, Brutai and many more.

2016 saw them record their debut album ‘The Carcass of the Sun will Sleep’, returning to Neil Hudson’s studio and releasing this via Attic Records. The album consists of 8 tracks, 6 brand new songs with the addition of ‘March of the infected’ & ‘Dead Crows’ being revamped and re edited for the album and was produced, mixed and mastered by Neil Hudson.

The Darkhorse are: Barry Groome – vocals/guitar, Jamie Darnell – guitar, Daniel Groome – bass/vocals
Mat Ward – drums
