NUMB release their video for single ‘Common Love’

NUMB release their first track ‘Common Love’, a cracking rock track taken from their self-titled debut album which is out on 1st September via Attic Records.
Check out the video here:

Debut self-titled album NUMB is released on 1st September.
This fierce, hard driving rocker throws up fabulous tunes track after track, showcasing twists, grooves and suprises galore and the end result is a truly stunning album, made even more so by the fact this is their debut offering. An extremely exciting future awaits this formidable qartet.

Established in 2015, a rekindled long term musical collaboration between guitarist songwriter Darren Caven-Quantrill and multi-instrumentalist composer Barney Byron (The Calling, Audioeinstein) joined forces with unknown but talented lyricist and vocalist Lee Rayner.

An album’s worth of original material was rapidly composed with the fresh writing partnership says Rayner, “Darren and me just clicked and we immediately knew we had a unique sound, some might hear the Randy Rhoads/Osbourne esque guitars? Some may hear our combined appreciation of bands like System of a Down? Others possibly the punk edge of the Dead Kennedys? The angst of Rage against the Machine? or even the neo classical Muse edge?”

The band was soon joined by drummer Damo Falkowski (Deadeye) whose technical and powerful style yielded the modern edge that defines Numb’s resonance.

Excited as they were with the new sounds they were laying down, Numb never anticipated the buzz and enthusiasm they received from the first string of gigs locally “it gave us the real desire to take the time to perfect our unique sound – we took the old industry route! Demoed the entire album first, taking our time and this allowed us to craft an album which not only met our expectations musically but we now honestly feel deserves to be exposed and out there” says Caven-Quantrill.
“The songs are semi-autobiographical” remarks Rayner “they are extremely personal – this is Real Life Rock”

Numb’s eagerly anticipated debut will be released on Attic Records 01/09/17

New album ‘GUNMEN’
ORDEN OGAN, Germany’s premier power metallers, have exceeded themselves with their new fifth studio album, titled ‘Gunmen’. Undoubtedly the band has delivered their heaviest but at the same time also most melodic piece of work.
With their previous studio album ‘Ravenhead’ released in 2015, ORDEN OGAN toured Europe supporting HammerFall and later Powerwolf too. “Ravenhead” became a chart success in several European countries, with #16 in the German chart marking their all-time best result. Now ‘Gunmen’ continues the band’s track record, combining classic Teutonic metal with a modern production on international top level. All this results in 10 metal hymns for eternity!
The ‘Gunmen’ album consists of 10 songs, including a guest appearance by former Leaves’ Eyes/Theatre Of Tragedy vocalist Liv Kristine on the track ‘Come With Me To The Other Side’.
‘Gunmen’ was once again produced by the band’s guitarist/vocalist Seeb Levermann, who just recently has also completed mix & mastering of the upcoming Rhapsody Of Fire release ‘Legendary Years’.

Danko Jones release new single ‘You Are My Woman’ 15th Sept, new book, podcast, tour

DANKO JONES release their new single ‘You Are My Woman’ on September 15th

With the previous single and first taken from new album Wild Cat, ‘My Little RnR’ amassing serious airplay across the world, including being A listed on Planet Rock for several weeks, we’re expecting great things from the new and rather fabulous ‘You Are My Woman’!

Danko Jones announce new single, new book and new podcast, along with Scandinavian tour this fall.

Toronto-based frontman Danko Jones has been singing and playing guitar in his eponymously named rock band for the last 20 years. In that time, his band has played in 37 countries on 6 continents and released 11 albums. He has been writing for various rock publications around the world since 2005 and joined the KISS Army when he was 6.

Danko’s latest album Wild Cat came out in March 2017 and the first single, ‘My Little RNR’, received massive airplay all over the world, peaking at an impressive #6 at Rock Radio in Canada and it also charted at radio in various European territories. Danko was also featured as a guest vocalist on ‘BlackRose’, Volbeat’s smash hit that made it all the way to #1 on US Rock Radio in June. Their second single from Wild Cat, ‘You Are My Woman’, due for release on September 15th is an extremely infectious and loving ode to Thin Lizzy coated with Danko’s signature sound.

When Danko’s not playing hard rock music, he finds other ways to express himself – writing for various rock magazines and doing podcasts. In his upcoming book, ‘I’ve Got Something To Say’ (Feral House, spring 2018), he has collected his favourite articles from the past 10 years. Whether it’s selling Johnny Cash a Nirvana record, singing onstage with Motörhead or writing Neil Peart a fan letter, Danko has been on both sides of the rock n’ roll curtain for decades, which gives his writing another dimension altogether. The book features colourful illustrations from Gary Dumm (American Splendor), Mary Fleener (Slutburger), Michel “Away” Langevin (Voivod), Eerie Von (Danzig, Samhain), Brian Walsby (Manchild) and more.

About ‘I’ve Got Something To Say':
“Not just a must-read for fans, but a true ‘peek under the hood’ of the hardest working man in Canadian rock, who turns out to be a surprisingly regular guy. Taken one at a time, these pieces are angry, ironic, and laugh-out-loud funny. Yet together, they make up a fascinatingly accessible answer to the question, ‘What makes a person choose a life in rock and roll?”
– Gordon Korman, author

“Danko’s creativity, genius and wit shine through his writing just as strongly as his music. Whether it’s death metal or how to serve a burger, the opinions are intense and hilarious, and the enthusiasm is infectious!”
– Sean Yseult, bassist for White Zombie, author of I’m In The Band

As a podcast host, Danko has produced 157 episodes of the Official (and highly acclaimed) Danko Jones podcast and earlier this month he started his second podcast endeavour, The Reagal Beagle, dedicated to the best television show in history – Three’s Company. Each week, Danko invites a guest to talk about an episode in chronological order.

The band is in the process of wrapping up the festival season and has a few more shows to go in September. After that they return to European soil in November for an extensive Scandinavian tour. More tour dates will be announced shortly.
